The Finance Department includes the Finance, Assessor, Purchasing, Revenue Collector, and Treasurer Divisions. Assessor, Purchasing and Revenue Collector are addressed under their own sections.

Finance is responsible for the completion of the annual audited financial report("CAFR") and for constructing the Town budget. Finance processes all financial transactions, pays all the bills and processes payroll.

The Town Treasurer is responsible for managing banking and investments. In addition, Finance is responsible for issuing and managing debt in the form of bonds and notes and for procuring a strong bond rating for the Town.
