School Crossing Guard

The Town of Berlin Police Department is seeking applicants for a School Crossing Guard position.  Applications are now being accepted and will be until the position is filled.  They are looking for a candidate that can begin this upcoming school year.  Salary and Hours: $32.00 per day, 5 days per week in accordance with Berlin Public Schools calendar.  The position will be located at McGee School, but may be required to cover additional posts as needed.  Successful applicants must pass a background check, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid CT driver's license.  Employment applications and the job description are available at www.berlinpd.org or can be obtained at the Berlin Police Department Records Bureau at 240 Kensington Road, Berlin, CT 06037.  Records Bureau hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  

Full-Time Dispatcher:

SALARY RANGE: As of 07/01/2020 a trainee salary starts at $24.28 per hour. Top step rate of pay is $30.61 per hour.
