The Town of Berlin's Parks and Recreation Department has several parks and hiking trails for citizens to utilize, in addition to programs and classes for all ages and more activities for families to enjoy.

THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.  IF YOU NEED TO COME INTO THE OFFICE, PLEASE CALL 860-828-7009  TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.

THE BERLIN COMMUNITY CENTER IS CLOSING, TEMPORARILY, THROUGH THE END OF JANUARY.  PLEASE CHECK BACK ON STATUS OF THE CENTER RE-OPENING.

The Berlin Parks and Recreation Department regrets to announce that the boys and girls 3-8 grade basketball leagues and 2nd grade instructional program, for this winter, have been cancelled. With the current Directive from Governor Lamont pausing all team sports until January 19, 2021 and currently no access to school buildings, we feel it is in the best interest of everyone involved, to cancel the programs.

The women’s over 30 volleyball and men’s 25+ basketball programs are currently on hold. We will re-evaluate both programs, after January 19, 2021, to see if we can offer each program, with all current directives and safety protocols in place. It would also be dependent on us being granted permission to use the school.

Check the Town of Berlin website, under Parks and Recreation, for any updates. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
