Responsibilities:

The Revenue Collector's office is responsible for the billing and collection of property taxes and water/sewer charges that comprise approximately 80% of the town's operating revenue.  The office operates under the authority of the Connecticut General Statutes.



PLEASE NOTE:  Real Estate Taxes are now due on a semi-annual basis. You will not receive a second bill for the second installment due January 1, 2019.



Mill Rate effective July 1, 2018 = 32.50.

Please Note:  In order to obtain a Motor Vehicle release to register a vehicle, all outstanding Motor Vehicle taxes must be paid in full.  Only cash, bank check, or money order will be accepted as forms of payment for a Motor Vehicle release.
