Opening of Town Buildings

The Town Hall will be open to the public beginning May 26, 2020 by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We encourage everyone to conduct business with the Town Hall by phone, mail or email. However, if the nature of your business requires you to visit the Town Hall in person, contact the appropriate department to schedule an appointment.

Please note that a face mask or face covering is required to enter all Town buildings.

Berlin Animal Control remains closed to the public for viewing animals up for adoption. However, the staff is working diligently to handle all emergency calls and follow ups. If you have any inquiries, please contact the Animal Control office at 860-828-7055.

The Berlin Community Center remains closed to the public until further notice. The Parks and Recreation Department is fully staffed and open to the public, by appointment only. Please call 860-828-7009 for inquiries. The Parks and Recreation Department is reviewing all State Guidelines and
Executive Orders, as well as working closely with our Health District to determine if summer programming will be offered. We hope to make our decision and announcement in the very near future and it will be posted on the Town Website under the Parks and Recreation Department page, as well as the Town's Facebook page.

The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library: Curbside pickup will begin on June 1st for items that were placed on hold before March 24th. After June 1st, holds placed recently will begin to be filled. You may visit anytime or call 860-828-7125 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (M-F) to place a hold and patrons will be notified once items are available. If you have library materials still in your possession, please remember that the due date on everything has been pushed to June 5th. The bookdrop will be open on Thursday, 5/21 and Thursday, 5/28 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. (closed on Monday, 5/26). After 6/1, the book drop will be open daily (M-F) between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The Senior Center will remain closed to the public until further notice. The Senior Center will remain committed as always to be a support and resource to our senior community. If you or anyone you know needs assistance, please contact the Center at 860-828-7006.
